Boing Boing Gadgets recently had a discussion about the letter 'i' as it replaced the 'e' in technology (eMail and eMac became iPod and iMac, etc). It asked readers to suggest the next letter (or character) in the succession.
I myself vote (and I ask you all to vote with me) for the schwa.

Also, I also vote for the schwa. Unless my favorite Russian letter could become popular: ж
It makes the "zh" sound (as in azure, or fission). That could be catchy: zhmail, zhMac, zhnternet.
