Three things that I think are amazing:

1.) The fact that you and I can both take an apron and tie a bow behind our backs without ever being taught how.
2.) Stoplights - what a cantilever! Check out that balance between so much horizontal and so little vertical.
3.) That my bathroom is a haven for cosmic events in miniature; the bar of soap that sits in my shower is slowly eroding under the hygienic rainfall, carving out little organic canyons and oxbow islands and revealing layers of geo-antiseptic strata, and the white foam in my sink after I brush my teeth will rotate in stages as the water it sits on gets sucked down the plumbing, producing a perfect model for the creation, maturity, and possible demise of a spiral galaxy.
